co-founder + Therapist

Hey there, I’m Victoria! I am so happy you are considering taking the next step in your wellness journey.

I am a wife, mama of one, cat mom, frequent traveler, and lover of new experiences. Outside of sessions, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, playing with interior design, shopping, reading, and heading to the lake!

I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Northwest Missouri State University and a Masters of Counseling from Avila University. I am a registered play therapist (RPT), PCIT Certified, and Perinatal Mental Health Trained and EMDR Trained. My journey to specializing in women’s well-being began in my work with children. Through my work experience in hospitals, schools, development centers and private practice settings, I gained broad-based training and experience. I also had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients including: infants, children, adolescents, women’s health issues and family conflicts. I was able to see how the challenges within these families can start with reproductive and maternal mental health issues. This work laid the foundation for my clinical training and practice. Through these experiences and further clinical training, I now understand the complex emotional, psychological and physical struggles that can affect women during their reproductive and postpartum transitions, and furthermore as they deal with family, work and life challenges.

My approach to therapy is collaborative and solution-focused. In a safe and supportive environment, we will identify and work towards your treatment goals. I’m here to highlight your strengths, resilience and celebrate your accomplishments. In sessions, I take an active and engaged role and draw upon a range of evidence-based models of therapy. These include acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral strategies (CBT), mindfulness, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), interpersonal and client-centered interventions. My approach is warm, encouraging, culturally-sensitive and without judgment. I believe healing is a collaborative process, working with a client’s physicians, alternative health care providers and others, when needed to provide the best care possible.

I find that I am constantly inspired by my clients’ courage, willingness and determination of a life well-lived. I believe that with support, women can not only feel better but they will thrive.
